Subject: Do you recommend Rock Creek Forest ?
I feel like principals are not staying as long these days. If it were MCPS weeding out bad ones that would be good but it seems like some of the best are not staying as long as they used to.

I think she’s a solid principal and a nice person. She was in the unfortunate position of following probably the best elementary principal in MCPS and coming in when the beloved assistant principal went to another school.
From what I hear, it’s beyond just filling big shoes.

That’s a shame. My children were there when Lowndes was principal. From talking with neighbors, I hear the school’s been in a lurch ever since, although the PTA, school community, and teachers are great.

Subject: Do you recommend Rock Creek Forest ?
We are moving to this area and RCF is our elementary. We want to know about admin, teachers, kids interactions, behaviors, climate and PTA involvement? TIA
