Examples: a teen claiming that Berkeley is much more prestigious than UChicago (come to find out, they were rejected from UChicago). Another said that nobody knows what Williams is and that they should go to their flagship for the same price. Another recommended that Northwestern would be better for pre-med than Rice (speaking about grade deflation).
All of these posts had upvotes. I’m steering clear of that forum in the future. Total prestige chasing madhouse.
