Completely agree! Our kids are tween and teens and we have outgrown townhome and looking for another place in same school district. This would be awesome for us. I love the privacy and deck spaces and patio. Kids could h w amazing grad party here.

And you could retire in it later with space for kids to visit or stay if they need help with living expenses. Ranch homes with bedrooms on main levels are getting more popular as people age. They are just mostly really fugly in DC area, but this one is cute and has curb appeal.

There is a new construction house next door where it looks like they did a fill in terrace "backyard" with the retaining wall to flatten part of the lot. Same can be done with this house if it's bought as a tear down. Just need a buyer with really deep pockets

IKR. It looks like it's been expanded, there has to be space to maybe add a half bath. But there are other things that would make it tough for a family with young kids: 2 bedrooms on main level and 1 car garage with a narrow driveway. Still, there are options to modify. there is a formal living room that could be converted into a 3rd bedroom. Driveway maybe expanded. Even without these modifications or any reno, it's totally livable for a family, especially with older kids.

I think that one's been on Compass's private listings for a bit (or perhaps it's another one of the originals/non-rebuilds on Waggaman). It's a nice house with beautiful views--and no backyard. Bummer.

That's going to sell for well more than 2.

I usually hate the houses posted on here by desperate realtors, but this one is actually really charming.

The lack of usable backyard space will be a tough sell for families with kids though.

Usually older homes get torn down over there and you never see them on sale. Maybe because a lot of new homes are sitting, I suppose older homes that are remodeled will start gaining value again?
