You can check if someone in neighbors, friends or family can do a week for money or as a favor. They just need to come in morning and evening, bring food and give him his medicine. If he can bath and dress himself, he can manage rest on his own. They can check on him in afternoon via phone, lunch box can be left in his room when they leave in morning. You can put a mini fridge, microwave and tv in his room or near it. If you put a camera on his door, you can check for safety. Give him phone and charger to make calls and feed emergency numbers on speed dial. He should be fine for a week. You and family will get a break too.

Chevy Chase House does respite care. Not sure length of stay required.

The Carnegie at Washingtonian does it for all levels of care. I think it’s $400/night though.

You need to call around. I'd start with places closest to you.

I had a PT patient who had to pay for a month at I think Fairfax Nursing when she had a hip surgery. she said a month was the minimum.

Do a full month. Seriously, if you can afford it, do it.

Most places won’t do less than a month, but call around. If desperate for business, they may consider 2-3 weeks. I doubt a week will be worth the liability risk for any place.

Does anyone know of a senior living place that he could stay at that would provide meals and meds administration?

There are agencies that can send caregivers to your home 24-7.

Yes I know, but that’s not what i’m looking for.
