I don’t have a specific recommendation, but consider sizing up when buying white pants. If they have to stretch at all, they can quickly become unintentionally see through.

Those ladies are thin. I’m fluffy with a heavy chest and a puffy midsection. I can’t tuck in a shirt and only wear a belt when I’m wearing a suit with a jacket.

I would rethink what to wear on top. The balance will be off. You want to style them with something more fitted on top and/or something fully or partially tucked in so that your waist isn't fully obscured.

I’m looking for cropped pants, not full length. Slightly shorter than ankle. Like cropped palazzo. Not Capri or pedal-pushers.

Like this, but not lined (too heavy)—and ideally less than $130.

But the shape is good.

I’m 5’9” and wear a size 12 dress/pants. Chest is 34 D.

Butt, thighs, and midsection are big.

I’m mid-50s.

I’m a pear, not an apple.

I cannot wear skinny pants, and because of my curves I look more balanced when I wear pants that flare out.

Most linen pants are drawstring waist and have a lot of extra fabric near the top which makes my butt and pooch look even bigger.

When I wear white jeans, it creates more of a waist and there’s less puffy fabric.

All the influencers who tout how to dress with curves/pooch promote a certain formula, but I can’t find the right lightweight white ankle or cropped pants.

Hmmm...To keep your frame from looking even larger and boxy when wearing wider pants, you shouldn't wear a blousy shirt unless you do the
Half-Tuck (French Tuck) which defines your waistline. OR look for Wrap-Style Blouses: A short-sleeve wrap top which will cinch at your waist, creating a balanced hourglass look.

I love pants like this but with an A-line/blousy shirt that will make you look like a balloon. Sorry.

Curvy with a pooch- are you apple shaped? Pear?

+1

What you are describing is as frumpy and geriatric a look as I can think of. Full length cotton gauze or linen pants will look so much better and be just as comfortable.

We'd love to help suggest specific options. What is your height/weight and pant size? What is your overall body type? Budget?

I can’t wear shorts so I need to find lightweight cropped white pants to wear this spring/summer. Since I’m curvy with a pooch, I need the balance of bootcut/palazzo.

I’m looking for btdt tips on brands and cuts.

My plan is to wear them with tops that are a bit A line or blousy. I’m hoping to find some bold colors or printed short sleeve/cap sleeve blouses/tops.
