don't have regrets...regardless of the health ramifications, it will always be ugly and it does impact resale values. Whomever bought it will find out when they need to sell. BTDT

Yeah, it's an eyesore to have a big power line a few hundred feet from your house.

The area along Shreve Road in West Falls Church has always freaked some people out due to the large power lines along the trail.

Most electrical engineers do not care. There must be a few exceptions, as with anything.

Last year, we passed on a lot we liked because it was right next to the trail after reading advice to avoid power lines. But this house just sold for $200K over asking—$2.45M for a 2016 build!
