Nutrafol is unnecessary. Get tested to see if you are actually deficient in anything and then take only those supplements. In my case, I needed Vitamin D and iron.

agree, I've used Nutrafol in the past and it is nothing compared to Minoxidil. I think Nutrafol helped to stop some shedding but minoxidil stopped the shedding and started hair growth on my thinning areas. I use the 5% foam from Costco, so much cheaper than Nutrafol and it works.

I've used the foam for about a year now and it's made a huge difference! My hair dresser noticed fullness in my scalp at about 4 months of use.

DP but no, it has not. I have been taking for 6 months and am just now starting to see regrowth.

So no random lip/chin hair, but any other side effects?

Nope, no other side effects. I did have the "dread shed" when I first started using it, but that has passed. I am taking it in combination with spironolactone, which is a diuretic and counteracts any potential water retention that might be a side effect of the minoxidil.

None whatsoever. Been on it for 4 years now. And even if it did I wouldn’t care as long as it restored the hair on my head. I can easily remove facial hair.

6-12 months and you know that your temples are the hardest to regrow, right?

10:32 poster again---I did not have any hair fall out from it but again I'm using the liquid with the eye dropper. It works well. I've never tried the foam.

I use the liquid with the eye dropper and rub it in with gloves on hand. It works. I also use it at the temples and on the part. You will start seeing little hairs in 4-6 weeks. My hair stylist always comments that I have growth.

For those of you taking the oral pill, has it caused increased lip/chin hair?

I take the oral version. I had the “dread shed” for about 4 weeks after starting. It took about 6 months to see visible results. If you have AGA then you’ll have best results adding a DHT blocker to the minoxidil.

I've only taken the pill form but hair grows in cycles so you're looking at probably 6 months. From the first two months, more hair can actually fall out. Then you'll see it start growing in but it'll take a couple months for it to be long enough to matter.
