I'd argue its been in a slow but steady decline since the early 2000's. The last renovation and addition of the luxury shopping & restaurant wing was spectacularly timed with the global financial crisis. It has surprised me Nordstrom has hung in as long as they have.

It’s been unionized for several years, and there has been an exodus of stores leaving Towson mall in the past 6 months.

Anonymous wrote:Isn’t Towson Town Center still a decent, higher-end mall? I just saw the press release today that Apple is closing three locations in declining malls, including the one in Towson. The press release cites “deteriorating conditions” at the malls.
Columbia and Annapolis are the next nearest stores.
