I am however writing a book, which is a lifelong goal of mine. It's slow going but I work on it regularly and am going to finish it in a couple months. I also set about saving an ambitious sum of money outside of retirement accounts a few years ago and I've already surpassed that amount and have now set another higher goal. So it's not like I never do stuff I want to do. But I think I'm just an ambitious, never-satisfied person and I always have dreams and goals and some of them are not practical at the moment. I will either let go of them at some point or find a way to do them.
I thought everyone was like this?
Lol, this is what I thought of when I saw the title of the thread.
I even bothered to get an MFA in creative writing (a 3 yr program no less), and still can't manage to force myself to write a book.
