more like both. I got a speech therapist already and is working of pronounciation. and then next direction would be public speech, acting etc.

Theatre Lab in DC has had classes for the latter. Their website isn't showing them now, because registration for spring is over, and so now their website just shows summer camp.
If you can get your kid interested in acting, that is a great way to develop confidence and presence. But doing it in person makes much more sense than online.
