I can't promise that no one is judging you, but the vast majority of people in this country have nothing against Christians, even those of us who are of different faiths. The only time they are widely "judged" is when they try to impose their beliefs on others or aggressively proselytize.

I find it astounding that being Christian/Christianity are fair game for criticism & ridicule. I feel vastly more judged for my religion now than I did when I was doing things like sleeping around, doing hard drugs, being dishonest, getting a divorce, acting dishonorably etc. I find it insane!

Are you criticized for your religious beliefs mainly online or in person too? People generally talk about their religion, but don't usually talk about sleeping around, etc. Maybe that's why your religion is more criticized.

I can see feeling judged for the behavior of so-called "Christians" in the MAGA camp, who aren't even very Christ-like but claim to represent the faith. I doubt OP is a troll.

+1 literal insanity has taken hold of people in power and we all have to pay the price for the ridiculous beliefs that require them to bring back their lord. It’s like being in the twilight zone

My experience of growing up in a Jewish town and becoming an evangelical Christian in my teens was the opposite of your experience. All my Jewish and Hindu friends remained in my life when I was a Jesus zealot. When I dropped my evangelical beliefs, my Christian friends rejected me and said I was a "backslider."

All religions and ideologies have a spectrum of religious intensity and fundamentalism. The more black/white us vs. them thinking you subscribe to, the more you judge others and feel judged by them. We're programmed to feel safest and happiest when part of a tribe, and to practice in group/out group behaviors. So that's all normal. But there's nothing special about a belief in Jesus that inspires more judgment than any other belief in the superiority of your in group.

Oh? Fellow Christian here. A very traditional one as it happens. I hear this kind of claim about being judged from time to time. What do you mean? Have you received a sentence yet? Are you going to be killed by stoning? Put in prison? Are you okay?

I find it insane that you are willfully ignoring centuries of not only criticism and ridicule of others by Christians, but literal persecution and murders done in the name of Christianity.

I’m pretty sure you’re OK if no one is putting you on trial for being a witch, or stoning you for being the “wrong” religion, or waging a war on your entire nation. I’m pretty sure you can handle it.

I’m a Christian, and I can’t believe you have zero reflection on the FACT that Christianity taking over nations and cultures led to genocide, colonization, murder and the subjugation of women. It’s time to step away from the pity party and reflect, OP.

Judged by who?
I’m Christian and don’t feel judged. I have friends of all religions and atheists.
