I have arthritis in my feet and take a collagen supplement daily - like another poster said, if I stop for a week or so, the pain returns like clockwork.

OP, I use Vital Proteins brand collagen peptide supplement in the blue container- I can often find it at Costco, and it is widely available at Amazon, Target, WF, etc. I take the full dose (4T) via mixing 2T/cup of coffee.

My mother has used it for 20 years and swears by it. She stopped taking it and the arthritis pain came back

Avoiding sugar is important. My rheumatologist says a lot of her patients say not eating sugar helps.

Along those same lines, extra virgin oil contains properties similar to ibuprofen.

About olive oil from the Arthritis Foundation:

However, eating some olive oil while continuing to eat cakes, colas, and candy probably won't help a lot.

I find eating an anti inflammatory diet works best.

What kind/type of collagen is good as a supplement to help address arthritis in my knees?
