Yea, dating in your 40s is wild. The pool is MUCH bigger since you can go from 20s-60s men. But older men look pretty awful, and the younger ones are immature and obnoxious.

Hmm, I'm 46 and I find my male peers to be attractive (as is my husband). But I'm not looking to sleep with any of them (except my husband, who was somehow blessed with almost wrinkle-free skin, which is slight infuriating) so maybe it would be different if I were. Also, if you're dating in DC, that's the smartest but ugliest group of people.

I think most men stop caring how they look after they get married the first time and have kids. The single 40-somethings don't look as bad.

OP here again: I'd rather be single than date a man to whom I'm not physically attracted. So many of my single friends try to make it work with men they're not attracted to... That's just repulsive.
