How old are you? My DH and I didnt vacation once when we dated. We were saving and we used our limited vacation on family holidays. But we were in the same page about it all. What does he say about it?

I mean…. We’re taking our vacation right now and not going anywhere this summer. It’s hot and crowded everywhere. What is his reasoning? Do you go on vacation at other times of the year? Weekends away?

OP: Your post is pretty vague. Does use his PTO in other ways, or simply not get enough? Are you trying to plan an elaborate vacation that's outside of his budget? How would you feel about contributing the difference?
