She doesn’t have instagram or TikTok access, but she has access to the family YouTube account… same idea.

Salicylic acid is good for this. If she’s talking about blackheads on her nose , it could just be sebaceous filaments. My 6th grader started having problems with her skin last year. We just used this at the time and it worked for her.
If gentle cleanser and toner where the blackheads are doesn’t work, then I would take her to the derm. Also, you say that you can’t see them. Is it possible that she’s just looking very closely at her sebaceous filaments? So many girls and women don’t know what they are and think they are blackheads. Aggressive treatment will enlarge pores forever. You can’t make sebaceous filaments go away forever, but the same toner that helps blackheads will greatly diminish their appearance.

I would research it online to see what’s best for her age group. I do know that a gentle cleanser is necessary and you got that. Differin is a retinoid cream that helps. Maybe a gentle mask that helps loosen clogged pores. If she has small pimples cover them with those stars they sell everywhere.

My 5th grade girl is complaining about black heads and wants to feel like she is doing more of a skin care routine. I got her to use a gentle cleanser twice a day. She is annoyed that this routine is not getting rid of the black heads that I can’t even see. Any recommendations? Thanks!
