She was (is) into you OP. Laying on the bed and then wanting room service means she wanted more. No way I’m going up to a married man’s hotel room unless I want sex and certainly not going there unasked as she did. Good no action on your part being married.

Op here. I recall she wanted to come up. i had no ill intentions so was ok with it and it’s uncomfortable to say NO to something that may be just her being friendly and accommodating of sorts. I have to continue to work with this person, likely with more business trips upcoming so good to know what she may be thinking. I can then adjust my behavior.

The only appropriate way to proceed is to assume that she had absolutely no nonprofessional thoughts. Whether that is true or not you will never know, but as long as you keep acting as if you're sure it's true, you'll be fine.

Sounds like very obvious sex signals. I don't invite men to my hotel room - unsafe, risk that it's misinterpreted, ya there's no world I'd invite a male colleague to my hotel room, unless we were hooking up.

30yo married man, recently went on an out of town business trip for a meeting with a female colleague I have been working with over a years time. She is single. At end of the day at work, she offered to drive me to my hotel room. She accompanied me up to my hotel room, we made small talk and then she went to edge of the bed, sat down and then fell back and commented something to the effect how comfy the bed was. I had planned to go out for dinner with her and she suggested room service to which I objected as I wanted the go out to eat. We had a nice dinner and she dropped me off front of the hotel. Nothing happened. I didn’t think much of any of this until I discussed it with a co worker who commended me for not taking advantage of the situation. What was this woman thinking?
