Can you tell me more about this? Do you have the electric pads under the tile? Which contractor did you use and were you happy?

Love mine. It never scratches or chips and it can be frequently mopped.

I have it in the kitchen and family room.

It looks great and is practical.

I've never liked the plastic looking composite stuff they sell as real wood now.

I think you’re looking at either old or cheap wood look tile. Newer wood look tile looks WAY better.

And just clarifying, this is porcelain tile, not vinyl.

Op here. Yes. Specifically porcelain tile, not vinyl or some other material.

We have it in our basement and love it. We have radiant heat under it, so it’s always warm.

I think the aesthetics of wood look tile have come a long way. We found one we liked and used it for our hall bath. We found it at a tile store not big box or floor and decor. I can’t say we liked their options when looking.

We have gray (so not realistic) wood look tile in our bathroom. I actually like it.

We have it in our bathroom. It looks nice but it’s too cold/stiff for any other room I’d say.

If you want wood, get wood. If you want tile, get tile. I don't get the tile that looks like wood and do not have it in our home and would not install it anywhere

It’s awful. I have it but I didn’t pick it. If you insist on doing it in a lake house bathroom, or something, make it white or some other color.

What do you think about wood look floor tile? Which do you like or dislike?
