Many things that are supposed to be good for it are actually counter indicated for many people, particularly after giving birth, not just immediately, but even decades later.
It's really hard to find out the "right" way to do exercises.
PS I meant to add to be kind to yourself. Even if you had mentioned it, the odds of your trainer knowing what to do with that info are slim. They may have even tried to adjust your moves and made things even worse. For many people it's just "kegels are the answer," and that's just not true.
I don't know the right answer, though. If my feed is any indicator, there are a bunch of people online who will sell you their tried and true method, but I don't know which, if any, are worth it.
