There have been reports of bedbugs recently.

Roanoke was a surprise hit with our family. There are great restaurants, an arcade, good antique/thrift/record shopping too. It’s cheap and you can park anywhere.
We stayed at the Springhill Suites, kids very happy to have own tv.

What do you guys like to do? Hiking, history, museums, amusement parks? How far are you willing to drive?

For 2 nights, it’s fine.

We have a house on the Shenadoah River about 20 mins away. I'm always surprised that people actually go to Massanutten -- I'd go elsewhere.

How old are your kids? My kids loved the waterpark, the go karts, we went tubing one day, and did the mountain zipline/rock climbing activities. Kids were somewhere between 5-10 when we did it. They had a great time.

I have been through the old posts--thinking one day water park, one day go karting combined with Luray Caverns. I don't know this part of VA at all. We cannot think of anything good to do for spring break. Spouse has vetoed Charlottesville, I'm not excited by Williamsburg. We actually wanted Florida but it's a lot more expensive than last year.
