What's next, are we going to blame perimenopause for gray hair, sagging skin and death too?
Ok. You don’t like HRT, it’s all good. But for someone so ok with age, what a miserable life you lead. You are a hateful sh!t, and a terrible forking c, and need to get off of this website and seek talk therapy. You are not wanted here and you obviously have zero functional relationships. This entire board section is on peri and meno so it’s not like you don’t know the subject of conversation.
You will feel better PP as the hormone drop settles out.

This is it, unfortunately.
I'm 55 and have some issues as well -- over half a century is a long time for teeth, and gums are attached to teeth. Do you trust your dentist? (Unfortunately that can be hard to come by these days, I know.) If so see them about this; you might need a deep cleaning/root planing, or there might be something else that can address this. If not, find one you can trust (if you figure that out, or find one, let me know, sigh). Up your dental hygiene game at home for sure; electric toothbrush, at least twice a day, and floss every day. Flossing is huge for gum health; if you aren't used to flossing and there is bleeding and pain, be patient and keep at it. To a certain extent, periodontal disease is genetics, though.
