Anticipating and planning for things that might cause a change in routine is the opposite of "vomiting anxiety". On the other hand, people who are so anxious that they over react to people seeking information should probably get support for their mental health.
This is an event that could impact school, leading to a closure, an early dismissal, or issues where buses are held at school. The pattern of previous closings tells us that. Any smart parent, unless maybe a SAHP who can easily accommodate all three, should be considering what their plan will be now. Doing so doesn't mean you think a change in routine is or isn't a good idea, or that you're hoping for a change in routine. It's simply good parenting to look ahead and make contingency plans.
