My dad used to mow the grass in my mom’s bright pink straw hat because it was so great for sun protection.

There is no such thing as women's or men's sunglasses, just as there is no such thing as men's or women's perfume. Pick what you like.

What is the most absurd but funny thing someone in your family does?
My father (82) is a notably thrifty. He cares nothing for fashion and acquires the cheapest sunglasses he can find, supermkt, thrift store whatever. More often than not he sports pairs that are noticeably intended for women. I tell him and he laughs and replies, "who says?" Spring is here and with it the brilliant sunshine and there he was again today in women's sunglasses! Harmless but hilarious.
