My daughter broke her forearm, not a particularly complicated break. But Dr. Rozmaryn spotted that it was close enough to the elbow that the healing process could potentially pull the elbow tendon off track, causing it to dislocate inside the cast. We ended up modifying the treatment plan and doing frequent x-rays to check the position of the tendon as it healed.

It all turned out fine, no additional surgery needed, but we appreciated his experience and careful monitoring. His specialty is hands/wrists/forearms. He’s even done hand surgery on professional musicians.

Montgomery orthopaedics offers same day urgent care appointments on week days and got me in with Dr. Solomon that day. Fantastic experience. He is very skilled and very personable. I’ve been able to book same day twice with that group as well for my accident prone kid.

Did surgery on my son’s wrist. Came recommended from a hand PT who sees outcomes.

I second this recommendation.

DD (16) fractured her wrist in 2 places yesterday and may need surgery. We are looking for recommendations of orthopedic doctors who specialize in the hand/wrist/forearm and who is good with teens. TIA!
