I truly hope ALL the local school systems take this threat very seriously and don’t keep kids in school with the intention of waiting it out. I remember how horrible it was in the Gaithersburg area when the derecho went through several years ago. It sounds like we could be in for something similar on Monday.
This is when the state needs to get involved. If conditions change by Monday, awesome and the best news. If not, it could be disastrous.
