If it’s that bad, offer to help the PVS Board, volunteer your time to Toll, etc. it’s youth sports, please manage your expectations accordingly and focus on the
You complain about getting volunteers but we see how you treat them. Sorry, not sorry.
It’s funny, I was going to say the same about you. I have nothing to do with Toll. But you do realize the people you keep bashing include volunteers, right?
I get it. It’s a bit harsh. But im not unreasonable. Just wish they could build a little flexibility to ensure everyone can be accommodated. I realize it’s a tough meet to run but it feels these are unforced errors and that’s frustrating.

Last time, they totally dropped the ball and had no merch vendors contracted and only old bag tags from a different meet . This year, if you volunteer, then you can’t get in to buy the merch because they have a line of 200 people they need to let in because they are charging parents to watch their kids and good forbid they don’t make you wait in line or charge you after volunteering for 5 hours. I guess they need to make money to offset the bag tags they actually did this year. Not everyone makes this every year and they have no concept of this. Sure, they can book a facility and get the meet run, but the other factors that show you care about swimmers and not just running a business to make money, they have repeatedly show they suck in this category. We collectively sighed when we saw Toll was running this meet again and will continue to do so until a team that cares about running a good experience meet instead of just mailing it in like they are doing this under duress takes over.
why is charging a spectator fee a bad thing? I thought $5 was for a session is reasonable.
That in itself isn’t the end of the world. But if you already are struggling to do a good job, adding the management of gate entry is a bad idea. Toll is no chick fil a! Who am I kidding? They aren’t Walmart on Black Friday!
