Do you take it in AM or PM?

Morning. It lasts 24 hours so it should matter

Oh and I know there is a longer acting Clonidine but it’s only about 8-9hrs and she would still need to take it twice and it’s not covered by our insurance.

Clonidine has worked so well for my ADHD teen in combination with Adderall XL. But unfortunately it’s extremely short acting - only working about 5-6hrs max. She has the ability to take it 3x a day but with school, sports, and a part time job - bringing and remembering the mid day dose can be tough and

Her psychiatrist thinks a switch to Intuniv ER might help and said it works 24hrs and will probably work better for her RSD, impulses, and anxiety than Clonidine. My daughter is reluctant because she likes the Clonidine but admits it’s up and down based on when she takes it during the day.

Anyone successfully switch?
