I don't have problem seeing Taylor spending several thousand dollars on these nuance spending. If they are doing it in the past years (e.g., to distribute in some public events), I'm totally fine seeing this.

What I'm not OK with is spending million dollars without adequate data analysis, scenario projection, community informing and feedback evaluation. For example, in the future we anticipate to spend ~ $30 million/year for regional program at least (https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1317203.page), where most of these programs will be 2 special courses + 1 T-shirt (maybe Taylor ordered the T-shirt for this purpose?). This money can be spent on much more meaningful items, like improving local HS course offering, like fixing the shabby school buildings, etc.

Superintendent Taylor promised transparency when he was hired. He said his first priority would be security and he would address that first above all else. Secondary bathrooms needed attention. Has he addressed those security concerns?
