My daughter looked at this school. From what I gathered, the night life is bar scene to bars in Baltimore/fake IDs.
I was a bit disappointed in the merit aid from Loyola. DD had a 4.3 weighted, test optional- great ECs etc and she was offered $38K, so the COA was still $39K +. DD ended up at William and Mary (in state) instead.
Loyola has a gorgeous campus!
Based on my son's experience, that is actually a pretty good merit aid package. My son applied to a few similar school and the price was usually just above 40,000. I think the only way the price gets lower is if you qualify for need based aid. Maybe I am wrong?
