They take Aetna, which we have, they have their own space upstairs, away from the little ones, and the docs are great.


Where are you seeing that they take Aetna? It’s not listed on their website.

Mine went to Kelly Goodman's practice, which is an NP practice. We go there as well, supplemented by specialists when needed. There is an annual admin fee but they do take insurance.

My entire family goes to the same general family medicine practice. My kids started in elementary school. Are you happy with your doctor? Start there.

MedStar Health at Tenleytown transitions children from Pediatrics to Adolescent Medicine at 13 years old. Dr Kirsten Hawkins is excellent.

I realize pediatricians can treat a 21 year old, but I discontinued with the pediatrician for my 2 sons around the age of 12 -13. I took them to a family practice physician.
