apparently is by the original owner of Bobs in Rockville but he is no longer the owner. I did not know that one had changed hands.

That’s somewhat more understandable, but the existing restaurant owns the name so he should change this one to avoid confusion.

She’s upset that the name of restaurant is not going to be Bob’s Shanghai. That’s a strange thing to care about. I care about actual quality of restaurants-not their name. And I agree if they did name it that it would be assumed it’s related to the Bobs Shanghai in Rockville.

What's going on with the restaurant that's supposed to open in what was Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in downtown Bethesda? It said "Bob's Shanghai" for a long time, then the Shanghai part was taped over and now it's just Bob's Chinese Cuisine or something. I hope it stays Bob's Shanghai -- what a great name -- but in any event, what's the hold up?
