Sigh. It can be exhausting but I’ve heard that from teachers in other districts. My school and admin is great so that really matters. What grade/subject area? The pay is good and so are the benefits.

It probably depends on the school. My college roommate student taught in one Baltimore city school, had her masters in education and
lasted one week in her permanent placement in BC.

I cannot; but have seen comments in this forum of parents that have their children in private schools that are city employees. Comments re. city schools are not favorable. Balt. County public schools are rated higher. But I imagine if you can work there it will demonstrate your ability to deal with more difficult situations when you decide to look elsewhere. Look at it as a place to "cut your teeth".
