DC attracts the kid who was smart enough for great university but not smart enough for a top IVY. Meaning they over inflate how important they themselves or their work is. No one outside of the beltway gives a rat's behind that you're a staffer on the hill, lawyer at generic law firm, or middle-management at a comms/lobbying or trade-association. Majority of the top of the top are in other cities and the middle and lower classes in other cities don't place as high of an emphasis on their own career.

Because I usually use travel mode because I like meeting men from other cities who align more with my own qualities. But I noticed that the men in DC are kind of dense. For example, I am 5'2 and I matched with a guy who was 6'7 and the guy wouldn't stop going on about how tall he was and how short I was. I mean why match with me if this bothers you and then I say hi and then they say hi back and then it's just one liners like if I say how are you? It's just a plain good. Very weird. They don't want to continue the conversation then why match with me? And then most just want to meet the next day or that same day and I don't move that fast. I like to talk to someone on the phone at least and if I suggest that they go quiet. Oh and you also get the pervos who DM me their intimates or their DIC pics. Just weird all around. I don't experience that in other states.
