You might want to check the futures markets for oil.

Large increase in a single day in history. Prepare to get reamed at the pump this spring and summer.

Gas will be above $4/gallon by the end of the month and kissing $5 by Memorial Day. Unless Trump TACOs before then, which is possible.

That means sacrifices have to be made, like consuming less oil, especially for stupidly needless things like an office commute so that you have meetings in person that can be done virtually anyway.

That isn't the sacrifice I want to make. The sacrifice I want to make involves offering up Trump and his quislings to the gods.

RTO was to get people to quit.
It had nothing to do with employee performance.

Perhaps you should stop being a crappy employer and pay your workers more.

Please feel free to quit.

RTO policies were not motivated by the interests of the employers or workers, they were motivated by the collapse of commercial real estate prices.

If AI plays out as they are claiming, the writing is already on the wall for commercial real estate prices.

Does your WFH plan extend to teachers? Are you willing to do virtual school again?

Employers don’t care about your commuting costs.

Gas is going to explode to unaffordable levels because of Trump's war. Is there any legitimate reason why companies would demand employees they barely pay liveable wages still come to the office and waste tons of gas on a commute? The pandemic showed WFH works. We now have a war time economy. That means sacrifices have to be made, like consuming less oil, especially for stupidly needless things like an office commute so that you have meetings in person that can be done virtually anyway.
