I only pack in a carry on and personal item.
I wear comfortable clothes on my flight there and back so that I can sleep if possible. These also serve as lounging clothes throughout the trip. I also put a large scarf in my personal item that I use as a blanket when I’m on the plane and as an extra layer if I need it on the trip. I wear my largest shoes on the plane (to save room in my luggage) which are my brooks running shoes.
I always pack a rain jacket and umbrella. I also pack a thin warm vest (mine is from uniqlo but these are sold everywhere) as another layer. Between sweaters, vest and rain jacket, I likely would not pack any other jacket for a spring trip to Europe (depending where specifically, of course).
I pack all mix and match- usually 2 pairs blue jeans, 1 black jeans, 1 black pants (or a dress). Tshirts, sweaters and tops that go with any. pair of black flats and waterproof black chelsea boots. maybe a silk scarf to jazz up my admittedly simple clothing looks.
I use the lululemon nylon crossbody as my travel purse (I tuck it into my personal item on the plane). It’s great because it is lightweight, washes well, and zippers closed and is worn as a crossbody so fairly pickpocket secure.
I decant my toiletries into travel size bottles (I bought a pack on amazon several yrs ago). remember to pack all of your medicines (and make sure they are legal to bring into each country) and an electrical outlet converter. Save room in your suitcase for souveniers
Have fun!
