Mid-tier consulting firm.

I'm offering engineering grads 80-90k depending on if they have an internship or clearance. 3.5 gpa minimum. We just hired 2 kids last month. (Their previous offers fell through)

It depends on the industry/location, but for corporate functions (e.g., leadership development programs, finance, data/analytics) I would say the following is a fair offer:

SF/NYC/LA: $80k base
Chicago/DC: $70k base
Minneapolis/Dallas/Houston/Charlotte: $65k base

Some companies do go higher
Wells Fargo, for example, is paying $85k base for all its grad programs, with the exception of investment banking (e.g., commercial banking, data/analytics), irrespective of location.

Associate Product Manager programs at bigger tech companies (mainly in SF) pay around $125k base.

Microsoft’s Finance Rotation program (Bellevue) pays around $100k base.

Finally, 90% of companies post salary on the job postings, so you can look at that as well.

New grad at a private co. is making $65,000

Our incoming analysts make $72,500. Boston.

she did good in this market. As they say, one needs a job to find a job. This is her stepping stone. Congrats to her.

2025 grad for architecture. Making $73,000 plus small annual bonus in large but (relatively) low cost of living city. Also had a $5,000 sign on bonus.
