Yes, other parents will be there.

We had a birthday party a few weeks ago and so many people brought siblings. It was a large public venue and we just received a larger bill for the extra people. I wonder if people realize siblings are not invited!!!

Or if they do come, you should stay with your child.

They don’t care and they rationalize it as “they can afford it”. Been there done that

You should invite siblings as what are they supposed to do with their other kids.

Hi, Thank you, but I'm not able to supervise both of your kids. We are doing a meet up with parents and kids. If you aren't able to attend, I'm happy to watch Larla/Larlo, but not Larlina.

I sent this exact text once AFTER the surprise drop off and got the response of a shrug emoji. Then her husband came to pick up when it was done.
I heard later that she thought I was being “snobby” to “exclude her other son”.

Sounds like a meetup where parents are in charge of their own kid(a) and Larla is taking advantage.

“Larlo is looking forward to seeing Carlo! Quick question: did you line someone up to keep an eye on Lil Bro while I supervise Larlo and Carlo?”

If she says no or asks you to do it, then tell her you’re not up for it. If she’s expecting you to do it, she’s insanely rude!

OP, you are too vague. Is this a birthday party? Who are "these people" you are meeting? What do you mean "meeting"?

No manners. I have never had that done in all the parties I’ve given. With this case I’d say I’m sorry, I’d be too nervous I would lose her or she’d get hurt and I’m not there.

I'm sorry but I won't be able to supervise Larla as well. Then don't. If the kid goes missing, it's not your fault.

If other parents are there why do you assume you’re in charge?

We are meeting people for an activity and mom says she will be dropping both kids off. I don’t want to watch the younger sibling. Older child can play with my child.
