My kid was told if he finished all the iReady exercises he could do something else. He did and has been happily writing book reports for months.

I think you mean Lexia. iReady is a test.

I hate ed tech but you have to find out what your kid will be doing if you opt out. Reading to themselves? They're unlikely to get a personal lesson instead.

Students are not on any iReady programs.

I don't mean the diagnostic tests but the computer program that they spend class time on.
