At that age, probably 6-7 times per year per kid. More often in summer when they liked to “camp out” in the backyard.

Every so often with a same age cousin. Once in a blue moon with friends, usually connected to a birthday.

Sleepovers are with family only. We have cousins sleepovers 5 to 10 times per year.

We don’t do them. Hosting or attending.

My child was still consistently wet at night until he was 8. We have only recently started having more often dry nights. We’ve never done sleepovers other than with family.

OP here. I have hosted a couple with three kids, including my DD. She has gone to one with six (WAY TOO MANY) and another with four total. The others I have hosted have been just one friend, which I mind less. The big group ones just ruin the whole next day, as a PP said, because they don't sleep.

No issues with kids needing to go home in the middle of the night but I did have one who I probably should have sent home due to bad behavior.

I thought millennial parents are putting an end to sleepovers.

My 10 y/DD has on average one a month. In the winter it seems to creep up more with birthdays and people having more open weekends. In the fall and spring in can be tough with sports and activities.

we do one every 3-4 months for my 9 year old son. almost 12 year old daughter has maybe 1 a month (usually connected to a birthday party)

How often do your late elementary kids do sleepovers? My 9YO DD wants to do them every weekend, and I say no the vast majority of the time. I would say we do one about 2-3 during the school year and probably 2 or 3 over the summer. A couple of her friends are sleeping over each other's houses at least one night every other weekend.
