I used to force my kids into eating whole wheat pasta, until we discovered, DH and I, with the help of one of those glucose monitors you stick to your arm for two weeks, that it didn't actually help regulate glycemia any better than refine flour pasta. It does add fiber, but there are other ways to do that (my kids love spinach and I add that to my lasagnas).
Interesting!!! I know people process glucose differently but I would love to hear more about your experiences with that glucose monitor and glucose numbers in regard to what you ate. Please post back or think about starting a new thread just on that subject alone.
