They should cancel one of the teacher workdays in April or May then if they plan to close school for this. Teachers can work that day. I believe there are a couple right after Memorial Day.

I’m sure this will be a Friday 5 PM email dump as always when it comes to bad news about schools being closed.

They closed it on Sept 9 when there were under 50 schools used as polling places. Security concerns was the reason cited. This April 21 election will be at three times as many schools and is already amped up.
