I had a FWB and we met each others friends- he even took me on a work trip where we had dinner with one of the bigwig board members and his wife. We were still “just” FWB. We do have history (had known each other for 15 years prior and rekindled our romance, if you can call it that.)

We are just friends again, from a distance. I’m married now. He will never marry.

Hmm. If your friends are asking to meet him, it means you talked about him in boyfriend terms. You shouldn't have.

You can keep it casual forever if that is what you and your FWB want. Tell your friends to stop being nosy and just be happy for you.

Most FWB’s do not meet their partner’s friends or family.

I have been seeing my FWB for 6 months now (or situationship, or F buddy, when we had the ‘define’ relationship talk, we punted) We are in our 50s, I am empty nest, he has a teen. My friends have been asking to meet him….how long can I keep it casual? I don’t want to join our lives.
