I read an essay by a woman who married a man who was 56 I think and she was taking care of him at 70 and he died. It was sad but they had some good years.

It depends on genes . If spouse has healthy lifestyle and has parents who are still active mentally and physically well into their 70-80s then you’ll get good 15-20 years of companionship. Maybe 5-10 years of good sex life if you marry a 55-60+ man

The other thread made me wonder. I know you never know what's going to happen at any age but at this age it seems a big gamble.
