They are organizing planes for those in areas where they can get them out. But there’s now an MS form on the State website you need to complete.

Yes but not very confident it is useful. In Indonesia one time there was an erupting volcano and I asked the contact about evacuation and he said he didn't know but was going to Jakarta asap.

Yes and it’s pretty useless. They’re late on getting info to you and they are absolutely no help. I’ve been in a few situations where I needed help and I had to do it completely on my own. This has happened with 3 different administrations by both parities and it’s the same story every time

No. I used to, but found it wasn't worth even the small amount of time it took. And now it looks like it's even more useless.

Yes, I generally do. Not sure if they will help with a crisis but they have been good about warning about massive crowds for big events, dangerous weather, areas that are dangerous to travel, etc
