Why does mcps choose not to pay for OG certification? So reading specialist at the school is not OG trained or certified? If not, what does reading specialist do or specialize in? I hear many kids in MCPS fail reading or language testing, and I do not understand why not train specialist teachers.

Where is that happening? The RS at my school would NEVER.

I am not talking about OG trained, but OG certified to help kids with reading disabilities or dyslexia? Does each school reading specialist normally is OG certified? Is there a website or resources that I can use to search whom is OG certified?
