It’s interesting because I have had this problem underneath my sink so I know I have an entry point somewhere but haven’t discovered it to seal it yet. I also have two cats who are both superb hunters. They have caught mice before, but since they go inside and out, they’ve also caught birds and rodents from outside and brought them in. They are not much help with the mice that I captured under the sink last week. I got the humane traps from Amazon put peanut butter in them and check them a few hours later sure enough, there was a very large mouse inside. I went on a large walk with him and released him into the woods and then set the trap again and caught another mouse. Since that time I have not seen any more mouse droppings and have not caught any more mice under there. I also put a lot of Teatree oil and sprayed it around that area. I don’t know if that’s what’s preventing the mice from coming in or if there were only those two that we’re eating, but I know that I do need to find out where they are coming in from somewhere between the basement and underneath the kitchen sink.

Biotech pro pest management. They focus on sealing entry points, and came back several times. Turned out one was trapped in the house and once I trapped that one, no more mice

I used Pestnow and I also had all of my insulation pulled and replaced and the whole house sealed and the outside all sealed. They are gone. Before I did this I could hear them in the walls.

Put out mouse poison. Fill any holes.

I mean, everything behind your cabinets is a hole. I think people just move the stove and the dishwasher and they think, aha! Because they have visibility. And then they have success with traps and/or bait so they think it did something.

We have used Adcock's a few times in Arlington for raccoons.
They do mice also.

I get an infestation every few years in my basement, even though I try to be diligent about blocking entrances to my house.
I've caught 3 in the last week using this. It fits over a 5 gallon bucket:

When you release them, make sure you're a good ways away from your house - like a mile or so. Otherwise, they will find their way back.

AT & R Trapping if in MoCo. But you're still going to have to deal with traps as part of the exclusion process. If you want to pay them to check and replace traps, it's extra $$$.

You’re going to have a hard time getting rid of them if you’re not willing to kill/trap unfortunately! You’ve already got them inside.

You’ll probably have better luck asking on your neighborhood listserv because exterminators aren’t always licensed in DC and MD and Va.

We have mice. Anyone have a recommendation for someone who successfully found and plugged any gaps? We are super unexcited about trapping/killing (and I figure new ones will just come in).
