I like to give memories for milestone birthdays. I took my firstborn to an NFL game at the home stadium of his favorite team.

We took a class and created/forged chopsticks although there are other class options to make other things. It was so different and so much fun! A great experience. And the folks who run the classes were so nice and encouraging. A gift certificate to a class here is now my new go-to gift for young adults. I guess I could gift it to anyone but so far that is who I have given this to.

Is he going to college in the fall? Are there things he'll need? XL sheets? Gas cards if he's taking a car with him? Suitcases if he'll be flying back and forth? Small tool kit or first aid kit?

My gift to him will be that I no longer harp on him since he is a legal adult! I hope I can keep my own promise.
I am also planning to leave him alone for long stretches of time, I bet he’ll love it (unless he goes away to college).
