Totally meaningless post. You had chance to me what D stands for - but you just degenerate into hyperbole name calling. I told you what D stands and Rs reject it - doesn’t really matter what’s in the other side.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:The problem is that it’s binary choice. A vote for D is a vote for open borders, more illegals, DEI, men playing women’s sports, soft on crime, high taxes, etc. And most Rs just can’t go there. Dems need a new message.
I mean, you’re lying, of course. That’s not the D platform at all. It’s actually just a series of false, histrionic claims erected by swamp-addled weasels in the R party.
But let’s accept your false claims as truth to conduct a simple exercise: given the choice between your boogeyman and a vote for child molesters and global child sex traffickers, fraudsters and unregistered foreign agents, corrupt politicians who seek to prostrate all of us at the feet of a foreign nation, and incompetent clowns who degrade the country’s standing on the global stage with every word they speak, I guess I’m taking the boogeyman every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

Oh, thats just what they tell to keep the peace, they voted R.Anonymous wrote:All the Republicans I know held their noses and voted for Harris. Shocking.
The only one I know who is still firmly in the MAGA camp is actually not a Republican. He's libertarian, married to a Central American, who has a deep grudge against the more recent Hispanic immigrants who, according to him, bring down the tone of his neighborhood. Because of this resentment, he and his wife have gone down the rabbit hole of dubious rightwing news influencers (he distrusts "regular" news such as Fox) and believe everything they allege against immigrants. For example, he truly thinks there are hordes of violent criminal illegal aliens threatening life and property in this country, and wants to believe that most of those rounded up are violent criminals (but when confronted, feels highly uncomfortable about it). It's sad. He's otherwise a really interesting and intelligent person. I don't get it.
