I have not gone with my kids on interviews. We did have mom of child’s friend tell us about how she had to talk with her son’s boss to get him out of trouble because he kept falling asleep at work.

Is Gen Z really bringing their parents to job interviews?

Has anyone here done that? If so, why? And how did it go?

Is Fox new railing against thing that aren't happening, and providing advice that people don't need a thing? Yes it is. Why? Because if they created honest news content then people looking to be outraged would be outraged about things like infants being imprisoned without access to clean water, and blind people being left out in the cold to die. So, they need to create smoke and mirrors.

Maybe so, but if you Google the topic, you will see that other news outlets have discussed it as well. It seems to be a new phenomenon.

Not new. They've been regurgitating these stories for years now.

Yeah, this is NOT a new story. News outlets have been freaking out about this for years; they've just moved on to the next generation.

Fox does love its phantom menaces.

This. It's just a fox news headline based in no reality. Probably in the same column as an article about furries demanding litter boxes in public schools.

Other media sites just pay for AP and other content that they auto-repost. It's not like the local deluth newspaper did investigative journalism on this.

Use common sense OP.

I'm sure someone out there had but I am sure someone somewhere brought their parents at pretty much any point in history.

I've hired GenZers for jobs and internships and not one has done this.

I do not think this is common, unless the peson has special needs and the parent is the 1:1 support. But even in the adult special needs community it is usually not the parent, but an aid who accompanies the individual.

Has it ever happened? Yeah, virtually everything that could happen happens once or twice in this big world of ours. Is it common? No.

I had my first interview in 2008 and a girl my age (22) was there with her parents. We both ended up getting hired but people were chuckling about that for like a year.
So this has been a thing for some time

I wouldn't believe anything from a Fox website.
