Yelling is unacceptable and should be reported to HR.

For any manager out there, if you are yelling at your subordinates for any reason at all, you are completely ineffective at your job and should be fired.

Yes. Go to HR unless she apologizes. If you don't fight back, she will think this is acceptable and you will be treated worse. In the meantime, looking for other jobs.

It’s not illegal because when you’re on a zoom or teams, something pops up and tells you you’re being recorded.

Why is she yelling? Or are you not performing and she is just using a stern voice? I find it hard to believe a boss would actually yell on Zoom. Though I can see a frustrated manager raising her voice if you continue to not perform.

Document to prove she is indeed yelling at you. I'm guessing that she is documenting why she is frustrated.

My kids accuse me of yelling when I give them the stink eye. Seriously they will say “stop shouting at me” when I haven’t even opened my mouth.
