March 1 deadline is interesting. Can kids outside five HS boundaries opt-in?
The email we received when it was confirmed my kid was attending said that they would accept kids from outside the 5 pyramids but I have not seen anything on how to do that. Maybe they are waiting until after 1 March? They did not discuss that and staff really didn’t want to give out numbers. The one person I spoke to said that was because kids have opted out while others are opting in and things have been in flux.
They also said that they have started meeting with the kids who opted in for academic counseling.
How would anyone opt out? Do you mean kids opting in who changed their minds and were allowed to do so?
